gutwrenching perfection...

there really is nothing better than being sucked into the middle of a wonderful story, having it rip you apart, and leave you resting in a puddle of your own mix of joy and despair... tears streaming down your face... contented smile tugging at the corners of your mouth.

i read the Myth of You and Me by leah stewart last night, and it was absolutely beautiful. a well written story about the dynamic of friendship and what fear can do to you. if you're a member of tara's book club, go pick it up immediately. and then call me so we can talk about it.

You read a whole book in one night?

Ever consider editing as a career (if it isn't already?)

i actually do work in book publishing... so ultimately that will be the goal. :)

Fuck. I can't keep up with you. I'm on Chapter One of Middlesex. I just finished The Perks of Being a Wallflower, as part of my initiative to boost my creative mind, and I have yet to do a review on it.

well i don't have two kids to chase after... although i think you'd love this particular story. very few writers depict female friendships well, and this one was done really really well.

middlesex is a great story - in a leaves you with a weird and slightly icky feeling inside once you've finished it. but i think that's the point. :)

keep at it sister! xoxo

Weird and icky can sometimes be entertaining.

Sometimes.

if you say it's good, I'll be going to the library to get it tomorrow. I've been itching for something really good to read.

And what's this about a book club?
