ouch ouch, you're on my hair.

as i was heading back into the locker room after my workout last night, i was presented with an interesting site. seven or eight very tall and lovely (fully rigged) firemen were standing around a woman that was holding her ankle and looking very unhappy. i stopped... stood there drinking my water and just stared at the menseses. they were pretty.

now i ask you, does a broken ankle require eight huge men to help you... as well as three ambulances and a firetruck outside blocking traffic with their lights swirling? i think not. however, i'm starting to wonder if an ankle injury at the 51st/lex NYSC location isn't a BRILLIANT idea.

i think i feel some ankle pain coming on...

everytime you write the word "menseses" (i think this is the second time i've seen it in your blog) i immediately think you're talking about "menses" a.k.a. your period. and i'm like... why is she getting so excited about THAT? then i reread and feel dumb.

you definitely need to "break" your ankle while at the gym next time.

See, I'm thinking you should treat this like an algebra problem.
If X (meaning injured ankle) is added to Y (meaning breathless whispers of lawsuit) and then added to Q (meaning tight workout clothing) equals N (meaning several hunky firemen), then maybe you need to multiply the whole thing by at least 2 and you'll come out with, what could possibly be, at least another half a dozen first dates!

angelique - you make a very good point.. a VERY good point.

Of course if you multiply it by 2 then you'll have two broken ankles and not be able to walk on all of those dates. But firemen carrying you around isn't bad.

Yvonne,
Know that thing that DeNero did in Meet the Fockers to Stiller? The "eyes on you" thing?
Totally doing to you right now.
Cuz we're so on the same page.
